I was once called a "jack-of-all-trades creative" and it seems to have stuck.
More just keeps getting piled on.
My education says marketing, my heart says photography, my desire says designer, my resume says content, communication, copywriting, and account management, and my aesthetic says ski bum holdout.
I'm happily employed and looking to take on personal projects/collaborations/portfolio work for the fun of it.
My profile picture might look like a mug shot but I promise I'm a pretty nice guy, so feel free to reach out!

Content CreatorVivid Theory
- Calgary, CanadaFull Time
How do you truly summarise a job in a startup? If something needed to be done, I did it, regardless of job title–but here's my best attempt:
As the Vivid Theory Content Creator, I was responsible for the ideation and execution of all creative marketing content. An average day consisted of creating and managing social media content for six accounts, copywriting for SaaS marketing pages, designing visual assets in Adobe Illustrator, creating marketing videos in Premiere Pro, maybe writing a blog or two, and finishing the day by interviewing local Albertan startups. I wore many hats and my responsibilities shifted each and every day. I worked directly with the CEO, CTO, CBDO, and Graphic Designer to create and deliver marketing content that supported Vivid Theory's mission of inspiring innovation.
North American Social Media & Content Marketing InternHostelworld Group
- London, United KingdomInternship
As Hostelworld's North American social media & content marketing intern, I was responsible for numerous creative, planning, and administrative tasks; including managing the Hostelworld Facebook page, scheduling, community management, boosting, and measuring success through blog traffic, engagement, and fan growth.
Each month, I produced and managed all aspects of inspirational, engaging, and strategic blog content including sourcing user-generated content, briefing, editing, writing, and curating content from freelancers. I would also assist in the creation, execution, and analysis of data-led local market strategies that deliver against core global key performance indicators, working in partnership with Search Engine Optimization, Brand, Display, Public Relations, and Customer Relationship Management.
I was responsible for supporting large-scale brand campaigns, producing campaign content, and ensuring that the Facebook page was on brand while reflecting the campaign objective. Finally, I researched, wrote, and optimized Hostelworld's Hostel Booking Page micro-sites with up-to-date information and inspiring content.
Stats while I was responsible for Hostelworld's North American Page:

Number of Interactions (likes, comments shares): 45354
