CHANNEL 4 PARAS TRAINING SCHEME SEP 2019 – PRESENT
TRAINEE RESEARCHER THINK BIGGER
· Since September 2019, I have been a part of Channel 4’s 2019 Paras Training Scheme. After a rigorous application process and interview, I was accepted onto the scheme as a full-time Trainee Researcher for one of Channel 4’s shows: Remarkable Television’s: ‘Sunday Brunch’.
· The scheme is particularly aimed at people with disabilities. The aim of the scheme is to encourage diversity within the television industry.
· Receive monthly training delivered by thinkBIGGER! Ltd.
SUNDAY BRUNCH, CHANNEL 4 SEP 2019 – PRESENT
RESEARCHER REMARKABLE TV
· Preparing and presenting comprehensive research notes of that week’s guests to the shows Executive Producer and Series Producer during weekly pitch meetings.
· Communicating with agents and pluggers and scheduling research chats with guest(s).
· Writing scripts, consisting of guest’s sofa chat, and talk during guest’s cooking segment.
· Liaising with show’s presenters Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, to ensure that they are sufficiently briefed about each guest prior to the show.
· Briefing guests in dressing room or green room in busy live television environment.

· Prophets of Rock showcases music interviews that I have written and produced.
· Independently booking and conducting interviews with high profile talent, such as Prince, Janelle Monae and Lizzo.
· Creating longer form interviews with American music video directors: Dave Meyers and Lionel C Martin (the two have directed videos for Katy Perry, Missy Elliot, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Taylor Swift and Tupac Shakur).
· My goal is to generate the biggest audience possible and become one of the UK’s biggest music vlogs. My channel, and social media followership garnered over 200,000 weekly views.
