As a founding member of Tune Up Arts, we created a national campaign that reached over 100 000 school children on our first 'TuneUp Tuesday' with the collaboration of the Arts Industry professionals to advocate for a greater awareness about the viability of creative careers in response to the pandemic. As a virtual event in the pandemic we were able to garner the support of household names such as Darcey Bussell, Greg Davies and various successful Industry creatives such as Costume designer Gabriella Slade, Tony and Grammy award winning Alex Lacamoire, Photographer RANKIN and many others all providing inspirational talks, advice and workshops aimed at primary and early secondary levels.
Since my role, the organisation has grown encompassing a wider scheme, training young people to go and provide in depth arts education via workshops taking full advantage of being in person to provide creative education to all.
