PR and Digital Marketing InternLidia Muro

During the summer, I completed a three month internship in Madrid doing digital marketing and PR work for multifaceted designer, Lidia Muro.
My main responsibilities were to help Lidia build her brand by:
-Building an ecommerce website to sell the products
-Creating digital content for many revenues including the website, social media and newsletters
-Using Adobe platforms such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier Pro and Illustrator to edit content
-Setting up and creating content for Instagram and Facebook and analysing traffic
-Researching and contacting relevant press
-Assisting logo design, photoshoots and production of products
-Writing and designing content for press
-Industry and competitor research

At Smith Goodfellow I took on the role as a PR Intern for a week. The tasks I completed included:
-Research into the types and quality of company videos for marketing purposes.
-Writing a press release based on Smith Goodfellow's imminent launch of their new website and sitting with the media buyer to look at how the press releases are processed and distributed and looked at colour separation requests from the trade press.
-Working alongside members of the team to create an outline plan and storyboards for a variety of ideas aimed at marketing the new website launch.
-Sat with the Digital Media Manager and going through their social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) and how to plan and schedule content for their clients.
-Attended monthly client strategy meeting, with client present.
-Attended a CRM (ZOHO) platform training session and the weekly team workflow meeting.
