I am a hardworking, passionate Theatre Arts Professional, specialized is Costume Design. I have experience in project management both in collegiate and professional contexts, working with strict budgets and deadlines and collaborating with all departments involved in a theatre production. Having a background in music and dance gives me versatility and my cultural mix, being originally from Spain but studying in England, a broader vision of theatre.
We ask our Ambassadors to contribute their unique vision and ideas to improve our student offers, share the love and to represent the student body by feeding back comments and suggestions to us, and to promote our student opportunities on your campuses. We look for passionate, creative and confident students who will be brilliant advocates for the Royal Opera House in their universities from September onwards. Ambassadors will promote exciting productions from the main stage, Linbury Studio Theatre, our partner theatres and nationwide Cinema Season programmes throughout the year, by ensuring that the Royal Opera House is represented in the right places and at the right times on and around their campus/universities.
All halls of residence have their very own dedicated Student Welfare Mentor based at each hall to offer advice and help with anything that has an impact on your life at UAL. Student Welfare Mentors have up to three weekly drop in sessions. Chat to representatives about anything from settling into hall life, housemate concerns, managing your work, moving away from home to making friends.
We are a Spanish company which specialises on guided routes on foot, based in Ponferrada, Leon – a location on The Way of St. James. We organise trips in the areas which we know very well. Our goal is for each member of our small groups to be able to fully participate in this exceptionally epic experience while immersing yourself in nature as well as experiencing the local cultures and people of the lands that we will visit.. During my time at El Camino Tours, I dealt with incoming emails, bookings, customer service as well as facebook and website updates.
Through First Stage, the Royal Opera House offers people who are either in education or in the early stage of their career the opportunity to gain practical experience and invaluable insight into our working environments. While these opportunities are unpaid, we hope our work experience students go on to build on their experience further through further education and training, ultimately gaining paid employment in the sector.
Student Learning Assistants are experienced students who have been identified by their academic tutors as being highly motivated and capable learners who "have been there before" and know the typical academic issues new students face in their studies. They work in lectures, seminars, workshops and small group sessions to assist students in their learning. SLAs do not teach students but are fully trained to work with students using effective questioning and active listening methods . They work collaboratively with academic staff, supporting students in small groups and one-to-one, in the classroom and in pre-arranged locations in the university.
