I'm a performance artist and researcher working on the intersections of digital media with performance practice.
I graduated in Contemporary Theatre but soon I came to understand that was not the way to my art practice.
In 2013, I decided to settle in Lisbon and research the interaction of technology with performance practice, building machines for image projection in real-time.
Since then I've started to create stories to be performed by combining different media (from magic lanterns to the cinema to internet broadcasting) in interaction with my body.
My work has been funded by several institutions such as the Portuguese Arts Council or the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and had shows in the Contemporary Art Museum, Lisbon, Museum of Moving Image, Leiria, V&A Museum / British Computer Society, London, or the South Tipperary Arts Centre, Clonmel, among others.
Parallel to my art practice, I work in Digital Media designing communication strategies.
