I have a strong passion for visual art and would love to pursue a career in design, illustration and/or photography - however, I am more than happy to explore other creative platforms. I am a mental health advocate and BA (Hons) Illustration graduate from London, looking for employment or internships. My work experience has given me expertise in teamwork, teamwork, design, attention to detail, independant work, adobe creative suite, time management, social media, communication, working under pressure and has also given me the ability to adapt to new working environments.
Projects
- Group Zine: Happy WhateverFor this project, we got into groups and made a group zine - a mini-magazine showcasing our artwork, techniques and interests. We all agreed to do a double-page spread each, showing a guilty form of happiness, and a more innocent form of happiness - for me, I chose tattoos as my guilty happiness, and plants for my more 'innocent' for of happiness. m Our guilty happiness was to be coloured with orange, and our innocent happiness coloured with pink. My two images included metaphoric text, which c
- Body Positivity: Clothing DesignsI thought about combining fashion with illustration, so I designed a prototype hoodie and some underwear. The black hoodie reads "other women's bodies are not our battlegrounds" meaning that we have no right to judge other women's bodies or shame them. Everyone's bodies are different but beautiful. The underwear design uses one of my recent illustrations with a quote "my body is a temple". This message encourages self-care and self-love.
- Book Cover DesignsThe Uninhabitable Earth: A Story Of The Future by David Wallace-Wells focuses on the effects of climate change and how humanity contributes to it. For my third-year module, we were given a brief from Penguin Books to design a book cover for this non-fiction text, so I experimented with digital illustration, Photoshop and InDesign.

This degree focused on using creative abilities to help shape culture. Our work was examined and we reflected on the work of other designers, photographers, filmmakers, sculptors and painters - this helped develop our own personal, unique skills in illustration and to build the skills required for a creative career. I have completed a lot of independent projects during the degree, along with team projects and collaborations such as a group zine.
