At AVCA I was contracted to manage a major event for +600 people in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. I was responsible for: (1) managing and overseeing the development of an online registration system; (2) liaising and negotiating contracts with sponsors and partners; (3) designing and implementing a system for evaluation; and (4) designing an online marketing campaign.

At the RAS I was responsible for overseeing and monitoring the full event cycle from conception, through planning & programming, to designing metrics for post-event evaluation. My role was twofold: (1) Working Assistant Festival Producer for Film Africa and Africa Writes; and (2) Programming the weekly public lecture schedule. In my role as Assistant Festival Producer for Film Africa I oversaw all logistics & hospitality for the transport of +120 films and +60 visiting directors, musicians and artists. I also programmed a series of evening concerts to run alongside the festival, including booking a number of local and international DJs.
