About me
I am an optimistic, conscientious, and vibrant individual. A creative young woman with an eye for quality, detail and presentation.
Since graduating from The University of Creative Arts in London, where I studied fashion management and marketing, I have followed the path led out for myself in travelling and working around the globe, absorbing knowledge and opportunities in multiple cities, towns and countries.
Working in Media; such as Marketing, PR, Copywriting, Branding, Research, Designing, Styling and Coordinating events, Photoshoots and Collaborations over the past 6 years has demonstrated my love and passion for the fashion, music and arts industry. I am consistently showing my ability to use my confidences, diversities and approachable personality to speak professionally and intimately, in which my communication skills thrive.
Travelling over the past few years has given me confidences and opportunities in other areas such as hospitality, retail and agricultural work. These roles have benefitted me in my growth, working sufficiently in a team and alone, whilst keeping a professional yet friendly environment. I have been able to adapt these skills whilst working in floristry, visual merchandising, management, digital design, creative writing, film photography and events, from international establishments to closely, locally operated businesses. I believe this makes me ever more influential and appreciative of my role in the creative industry, leading to fast progression to recognised positions and an ability to learn quickly. My previous roles have shown my nature to be quintessential to this industry, being punctual, organised and positive.
A few brands and companies who I have had the pleasure of working for in a variety of roles include; Burberry, Urban Outfitters, Topshop, Dior, Coca Cola, Dazed and Confused, Vogue and Sony Records. Through styling music videos, editorials, commercials and organising event such as London Fashion Week, London Collection; Mens and multiple press events around the world including Barcelona and other European store openings, Byron Bay exhibitions and collaborative openings and worldwide festivals including Splendour in the Grass, Blues Festival and Falls Festival.
Through visualising the world and working within local communities internationally, I have educated myself within world knowledge including politics, environmental and social issues and the importance of ethical trade and sustainable living. I have developed strong beliefs in these matters having been at the forefront and experienced issues that occur away from the western media orientated world. I would love the opportunity to work for businesses that incorporate promoting ethical changes to workers, the environment and animal welfare. I am hoping to incorporate my skills and experience in the creative industry with my passion for ethical trade to aid the changes and growth existing worldwide, to promote a healthy future for the planet and the public, whilst thriving in innovative creativity.
