My written work includes blog posts, articles, product descriptions, torsos and technical manuals. I've also edited and proofread for some clients, and occasionally provide photography services.
Bough Digital referred me to this contract position, which involved writing a high volume of SEO-focused posts on fashion, beauty, lifestyle and celebrities using a bespoke CMS system. This included: - Creating at least 10 complete posts every day. - Sourcing relevant, high-quality images. - Creating relevant and appealing style edits using Shopcade’s merchandise. - Contributing content ideas for the editorial calendar.
From January 2014 to August 2014: Creating clear and concise technical manuals for new users of QSUnisolution’s new moveon4 software having gained an understanding of the software through their video tutorials. This included: - Gaining an understanding of the software through their video tutorials. - Creating user-friendly step-by-step instructions. - Creating screenshots of each step through using the software myself. And, from September 2014 to January 2015: Assisting with content creation on new QS websites: QSCourses.com and QSCourses.com.au. Involves proofreading, re-writing and search engine optimisation of existing content, and researching for and creating new content (articles) with SEO implementation through the use of Google Adwords.
Researching and writing specialised online content (buyer guides) for a high-profile consumer website, adhering to strict guidelines, word counts and deadlines. Also wrote blog posts for the Bough Digital website, on a given topic relating to digital marketing.
