The Media industry has always fascinated me, being an ethnic and religious minority, I have been brought up with the media constantly targeting us, only revealing the negative which has been unjust and unfair. Being a creative and bubbly person, I want to be able to change the narrative being written about people of colour and Muslims and provide the younger public with a role model that they can look up to, since diversity is something that the Media industry still need to work on. I have therefore, attempted to put my foot into different sectors, such as photography, blogging, and Youtube, in order to break the mould and stereotypes.
