About me
I am a writer and researcher who is interested in exploring the current sociopolitical landscape, marginalised identities, intersectionality within feminism and the climate crisis through a sociological and anthropological lens.
I have studied the cultural diversity across different places around the world during my Anthropology degree. Here I focused on the gendered experience of different cultures and the similarities and differences of how gender and other social constructs are (re)produced through different histories and structures of power.
Then in my Masters of Research in International Development, I broadened my understanding of intersectionality and how social movements have grappled with the complexity of identities and the implications of this in dismantling pervasive power structures. For this course I was extensively trained in qualitative and quantitative research methods for collecting and analysing different forms of data.
