Responsible for all aspects in creating short-form video content for a daily local magazine show on digital TV that covers a broad range of local stories and topics, specialising in sport and entertainment packages. The pieces are also put on social media. Skills required include:
- Sourcing unique local stories through research and communication
- Generating and maintaining relationships with key local organisations e.g. Leeds United, Yorkshire CCC, Leeds and Reading Fest etc.
- Independently self-shooting and working with other talent to produce packages using broadcast standard cameras
- Conducting interviews with a variety of people on a daily basis, ranging from the general public to celebrities
- Presenting live videos, pre-recorded packages and daily bulletins
- Editing packages to broadcast standard using Adobe Premiere Pro
