  CocoonCreated by Alexander Smail, Cocoon is a collection of 30 essays from writers about the albums that have helped them through the COVID-19 lockdown. The breadth of music featured in the zine reflects the varied experiences of the writers, covering everything from The Story So Far to Solange to Yellow Magic Orchestra. All profits from sales of the zine, which totalled over £1300, were donated to Scottish Women's Aid and The Black Curriculum. Illustrations by Katy Smail Photography by Fidel Garcia-

In more resent years I have been working for myself as a freelance photographer in editorial , fashion and advertising industries. Clients include Champion , Barneys , and The New Story
