Figure of A is a luxury accessories brand which I assisted in the launch of. Such steps include; • Creating digital prints for clothing and accessories. • Creating and implementing custom Adobe features to aid in future print creation. • Logo development and creation • Creating and designing the brand website • Maintaining the social media for the brand and developing social media strategies.
CANDYATOM is a fashion brand created and ran by myself and one other. The tasks involved in this were; • Designing Prints for placement and repeat to compliment the theme of the collection. • Liaising with print manufacturers and fabric stockists, learning new print techniques and best practice. • Designing both Ready-To-Wear and Street Level collections based on the creative direction and current trend research. • Cutting samples and preparing them for manufacture. • Working with canvas and sculptural art as well as digital artwork to create individual and inspiring prints • Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to source materials and components • Creating and maintaining website and social media channels • Hiring and managing interns.
LULU LIU is a ready-to-wear luxury fashion brand based in London. I started as a Design Intern within the brand and eventually went on to become Print Designer as well as Studio Manager. My tasks involved; • Creating digital print concepts for a Ready-To-Wear collection. • Ensured the day-to-day running of two separate studios • Interviewing and hiring interns to aid the head designer and head of PR • Presented the Spring/Summer 2014 collection at Zip Zone during Paris Fashion Week and built relationships with buyers and press. • Organized models and dressers for various shows and collections
• As a supervisor, was in charge of the running of the store from opening to close • Managed up to 7 employees in a busy central London location • Worked with Head Office on their social media strategies, creating content, scheduling, preparing timelines and writing copy. • Frequently updated the in-store displays and mannequins based on the current trends, new items and hot sellers. • Maintained high level of product knowledge, as well as keeping up on trends in order to assist customers. • Often awarded for highest sales and best customer service.
