About me
I am an entry level practitioner with over 7 years of practical experience in producing and directing events, theatre and films. I am passionate about what I do and I strive to learn new skills to broaden my horizons and enhance opportunities. My diligent approach, attention to detail and team skills ensure that every production is a success. I have recently graduated from Central Saint Martins with PgCert in Performance Design and Practice, and I am currently looking for a job in production (events, theatre or media).
Projects
  • Dream
DreamA Dream is a film that I produced and directed as a part of my application process to universities. It was my first attempt on a film of this scale, which furthermore involved working with actors and managing the shoot on public transport. It was inspired by a short story which describes romantic, unexpected love, and reinforces the message that gender does not matter when it comes down to love and relationships.
  • Blake [01]
Blake [01]Blake [01] is an exhibition conceived to challenge the boundaries between literature and digital arts, offering visitors the opportunity to experience poetry in first person, live, through different media. BLAKE [01] It is inspired by William Blake's poem The Ecchoing Green and features soundscapes, video projections and an interactive light installation. The artists are all emerging talents who worked closely with the curator to reinterpret and represent a specific step of the poem, recombining its journey. This reenactment of Blake's poem took place in the crypt of St Mark's Church, Kennington in April 2013. Apart from creating a projection installation for the exhibition I also produced the official video from the event. For this project I designed and delivered the video installation, and created a promotional video from the event.
  • Help to Help
Help to HelpA series of theatre performances round Slovakia in aid of a South African charity (€945.33 raised). I was responsible for the entire production, including logistics, fundraising, production paperwork, travel, accommodation; I directed the performance, and was in charge of sound and lighting.
  • The House
The House'The House' was a university collaborative project between BA Film and TV students and students of Production for Live Events and TV. As a production co-ordinator I was responsible for organising and leading two out of eight groups, working on two different films. I managed the paperwork, communication between the group members and tutors as well as the producers and directors, delegated tasks and supported the teams with their work. In addition I managed the communications across all eight arts departments and co-ordinated the props, costumes and set changes.
  • love: sacrifice
love: sacrificeA performance art piece exploring the notion of sacrifice in love. Live performance, Central Saint Martins, November 2014. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13: 4-7) For love I have... Sacrificed materia. Sacrificed people. Sacrificed myself. Faced my fears. Gave up my pride. Lost my dignity. Sacrificed love itself... And on this occasion I shall do it again and in front of everyone.
  • Let's Talk Christmas
Let's Talk ChristmasLet's Talk Christmas is a Christmas-themed pantomime directed at a children's audience of primary school age. Originally based on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, Let's Talk Christmas addresses the issue of bullying and presents it in a way that children can understand and can relate to, without being overwhelmed. Let's Talk Christmas is a family pantomime I wrote, produced, directed, and acted as the deputy stage manager on the night.
