About me

Filippos Fragkogiannis is a freelance graphic designer and art director, based in Athens. He holds an MA in Visual Communication, and a BA in Graphic Design from Vakalo College and the University of Derby. Having collaborated with acclaimed graphic and type designers, on April 16th 2019 he established his own practice. His research-based approach is rooted in semiotics, symbolism and the mechanics of visual language. His projects center around visual identities, posters, and print collateral, and he regularly enhances type foundries with bold imagery.

  Vercetti RegularVercetti is a sans serif font inspired by a humanistic design with a geometric touch. Its character structure is solid and moderately conventional, integrating smoothly into miscellaneous projects such as editorial design, branding, or advertising.
• Highpoint HomesHighpoint Homes is a London-based real estate management company providing services to landlords and tenants. Their new logo is made of solid typography and exudes stability. Colorplan Papers’ Citrine shade highlights the excitement of a new opportunity. The fonts used are Archivo by Omnibus-Type and the Times-inspired Wremena by Typefaces of the Temporary State. The visual identity consists of business cards, DL envelope, A4 letterhead, mailing bag and a notepad.

  Personal Visual IdentityMy visual identity consists of a business card, letterhead and envelope. This visual language is based on my initials and has a high level of adaptability. Font in use is Monument Grotesk by Dinamo Typefaces.
