I created basic blocks of a chore jacket to be used in a commission by Slow Projects, using up-cycled sportswear fabric scraps to create unique, one-off garments.
This block has since been used for multiple reiterations of the jacket that can be found on the Slow Projects website and social media platforms.

UPM x CSM 'Disruptor" AwardUPM
I was awarded the UPM x CSM ‘Disrupter’ Award for my design, ‘Synesthete’, an acoustic synthesiser made from bio-plastic derived from tree cultivation waste produce.
My design not only challenged the materials used in musical instrument production, but also the massive inequality throughout the music industry that bars the vast majority of people from making a music career a viable option.
My design aimed to make music creation and music technology more accessible and democratic, to encourage people - no matter their age, ethnicity, gender or any other background - to engage and learn about the creation of music and the tools that facilitate the process, so that a wider range of people can flood the music industry and make it more diverse.
