About me
I am a member of Paper Rhino, a creative co-op specialising in illustration, art, typography, animation and design. At Paper Rhino we are passionate about our disciplines and equally as passionate about working in a socially responsible way. We started Paper Rhino in 2011 so we could provide affordable, fair services to ethically-conscious organisations, small companies, NGO’s and charities. We are a highly creative team that are bordering on the obsessive when it comes to our individual skills. We are passionate in our belief that we can make the world a more beautiful place. Please take a few moments to have a look at our work and if you like what you see, get in touch – we’d love to hear from you. Fiona@paperrhino.co.uk

  • Gateway Film Festival
Gateway Film FestivalI had the pleasure of designing the logo and overall brand image for Peterborough's Gateway Film Festival. I've been involved with this local festival since it began in 2019 and it's been a pleasure to design the poster, flyers and programme every year since.
  • City College Mural
City College MuralMy Co-Op partners and I worked together to create this mural for a local college. We started by holding a workshop with the students to get them inspired to create art in response to their experience during lockdown. The next step was to digitise their illustrations and create repeating patterns to fill the bespoke typography that we created. The type was modified to be interlocked and better represent the theme.
  • Broadleaf Magazine Issue 102
Broadleaf Magazine Issue 102Here is the latest issue we designed for The Woodland Trust. We really enjoyed illustrating maps and icons to go in this issue.

Very Craftea Packaging Design - new product linesSustainable loose leaf Tea company Very Craftea wanting a fresh set of 20 labels for their tea products. This project included a new colour palette, label design, a rubber stamp and vinyl stickers. The problems the company had with their existing labels were that they had to be removed to open the bag and also they didn't stack well when on display at events. We came up with this side placement of the new design so they can be easily displayed on Very Craftea's stall. We also designed the label
  • Logo Stamps
Logo StampsA few logo stamps I have hand-carved in linoleum. These are always fun to make and can be made to various sizes and stamped in a wide range of colours to give a personal touch.
  • Watercolour Fruit Studies

  • Gaze - Risograph feminist arts zine
Gaze - Risograph feminist arts zineWe devised this project to publish work exclusively made by local women and other marginalised genders. To say: it's OK to make illustration, typography, graphics, prints, crafts. In fact it's amazing. Make the work that you want to make, for the reasons you want to make it. That's a radical act of feminism in itself. 24 artists were invited to risograph printing workshops at Paper Rhino. During the sessions they created a portfolio of spontaneous, intimate work that we curated into a series of
