Executive Assistant to Director, Film4 February 2018 – Present • Heavy diary work for Director. Internal meetings with Film4 Creative, Commercial Affairs, Marketing & PR teams, HR department, other Channel4 Execs, Film4 staff. External meetings (including breakfasts, lunches etc) with producers, writers, directors, financiers, film sales companies. • Regular monitoring and responding to out of hours emails due to connections with New York, LA and occasionally Australia. • Clearing of expenses. • Arranging regular international travel – in particular, to New York, and also year-round attendance at various international film festivals – including preparation of detailed itineraries. • Contact with large network of PAs both internally at Channel 4, and externally with domestic and internationally based stakeholders. • Handling of confidential material, party to confidential emails / discussions. • Attendance at Cannes Film Festival.
• Liaising with Directors to manage private household • Duties including organization / payment of utilities, removals, deliveries, ordering household items / books / gifts, household and car repairs when necessary. • Regular updating and maintenance of household ‘Bible’. • Overhaul of office filing system. • Dealing with on-site contractors, cleaner, housekeeper. • Organising private and business travel, preparing detailed itineraries and pre-travel packs. • Assisting in Cross Street Films office – filing, stationery, correspondence, liaising with senior PA and accountant
• Working with wide range of news, current affairs and expert on-screen talent, for both broadcast and non-broadcast enquiries • Negotiate, contract and manage corporate and broadcast jobs for clients. Keep clients updated on progress of each enquiry / booking • Develop and maintain good working relationships with production companies, broadcasters, speaking agencies and PR companies • Update Twitter feed on our clients and their programmes • Discuss client profile and industry reaction to their work

External meetings with agents and talent – including breakfasts and lunches • Setting up department-wide meetings • Sourcing meeting rooms • Regular contact with on-screen talent, agents and other top industry execs • Clearing expenses, purchase of gifts for on-screen talent • Arranging regular domestic & occasional international travel • Contact with large network of ITV PAs • Building good working relationship with PAs of agents and on-screen talent • Handling of confidential material and party to confidential emails / discussions • PA to Executive Producer of This Morning and Executive Producer of Loose Women • PA to Head of Brands for Daytime • Event management for This Morning – arranging brainstorming sessions, awaydays and end of term / series parties for production staff, programme execs and on-screen talent ‘family’ • Awards co-ordinator for This Morning – attendance of staff and talent at awards ceremonies throughout the year, arranging guest lists and tickets, travel co-ordination, after awards drinks
