I'm currently in my last year at the University of Edinburgh, studying History. Two years ago a friend and I set up an online magazine called FRUIT Magazine. It's a platform that showcases the creative work of students who don't necessarily study 'creative' degrees. For example, we've discovered scientists who write poetry and medicine students who paint beautifully. Each issue is themed with a colour, our next being Issue 8 : Purist Blue.

Cafe ManagerSnape Maltings

I managed the Concert Hall Cafe at Snape Maltings, based in Suffolk, over the Summer of 2018. Snape Maltings is an internationally recognised concert hall where musicians and artists congregate throughout the year. The job included basic tasks like managing a work team and coordinating rotas. However, it also involved communicating with several departments and a multitude of people- musicians, artists and businesses.
