London based creative researcher and artist, I graduated with First Class Honours from the London College of Fashion, and am now a postgraduate student at SOAS, and a practising painter and poet.
I recently founded an independent publishing company, The Mindful Editions, where I work with other creatives to create mindful books of poetry, photography, and art. I was part of the brilliant team at Chayn, where I worked as part of a global team to help create resources to support the healing of survivors of gender-based violence, I have stayed on as a volunteer. I am now finishing my Master's thesis, continuing to run The Mindful Editions, and working as an artist.
My first solo show of paintings, Aria, will be taking place in February 2022, in London.

At a time when being mindful is so key: for the planet, our communities, and ourselves, creating a space to showcase work that engages with the world, and the people in it, felt necessary and timely. During a moment of unprecedented flux for the creative industry, The Mindful Editions aims to provide a platform to showcase the work of creatives who have had not yet had much exposure or recognition, and to provide a contribution to their income. All profits from sales of the book are split evenly amongst the contributors.

A rigorous and demanding academic course, during my time at SOAS I have taken modules on a range of subjects: 'Gender in the Middle East', 'Gender, Peace and International Law and Gender', 'Armed Conflict and International Law', to name but a few. I am writing my graduate thesis on gender, conflict, lethal autonomous weapons and the law, and hope to pursue this research further as a postdoctoral researcher.
BAUniversity of The Arts London (UAL)

Developed extensive research skills through conceptual design projects, cultural historical studies essays and the final year dissertation - my dissertation was selected as one of best in the year and so is on display at the university library. Design and making skills honed throughout, along side a meticulous attention to detail and quality. Learned to use the Adobe Suite extensively: illustrator for specification sheets, indesign for portfolio and look book and premier for film making. Also cultivated exceptional time management skills in order to balance a part time job and extremely demanding degree. Attended extra illustration classes, was shortlisted for the Kering Award for Sustainable Fashion 2018 and presented at lecture for first and second year students about third year. As student rep for all three years, I was responsible for creating a bridge between the student body and the faculty, working with other student reps across the university, with whom I implemented many student lead changes to the timetable, class structures, degree content and mental health discourses at LCF.
