About me
Having taken a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths College, I spent several years dividing my time between acting and directing theatre, with some fleeting moments on camera. During that period, I wrote in order to perform. The realisation that I ought to have been writing full-time came about six years ago when I was commissioned to write comedy sketches for a PR stunt for Hardy’s Wine, and a number of children’s theatre pieces for Dorling and Kindersley publishers. As a freelance writer, my work is eclectic (from wedding speeches to political manifestos, with a preference for comedy) and writing executive summaries for large organisations implementing new strategies tends to pay the rent.
I’m currently preparing my first full-length feature film screen-play for pitch at Sundance Festival 2015.
