I am a Freelance Designer and Illustrator working across many disciplines including Garment, Graphic and Print Design, with a special interest in design for Children.
A multi product Fashion and Graphic Designer with 9 years experience designing for brands including Beau Loves, Mini Sibling and Dondup (LVMH group).
My work experience covers all product categories - childrenswear, babywear, womenswear and nursery homeware - with a focus on print and graphic design.
I have designed collections for brands based in Italy and UK as well as worked with factories and suppliers in Asia and Europe. I dealt closely with buyers and exhibited at international trade shows, such as: Playtime Paris, New York and Tokyo; Ciff Copenhagen; Pitti Bimbo; Bubble London; Dot to Dot London.
Besides designing collections and managing the production, I also led the development of brand identity (logo, packaging, labels, catalogues, etc), newsletter campaigns, e-commerce store and website design.
A BA graduate from Istituto Marangoni Milan in 2008.
I have worked with both high street and independent start-up brands and can assist with all aspects of your collection from design concept to production:
• Producing mood boards/design concepts through trend forecasting and inspirational research
• Sketching a collection by hand drawing and CAD (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Applying print and graphic design to garments (all over & placement prints, embroideries and embellishment layouts)
• Creating tech packs & artworks for sampling
• Providing colourways and Pantone colour standards
• Communicating with suppliers (in English or Italian)
• Developing prototypes from initial sample to production
• Working closely with the Sales team, attending trade shows and presenting samples to agents and buyers
• Styling and organising photoshoots (flat and lifestyle shots)
• Designing newsletter campaigns, e-commerce store and website front-end
• Branding and developing company identity (logo, packaging, labels, catalogues, etc)
