About me
Hello! I'm Francesca, an illustrator and designer with a love for the natural world, based near Salisbury on the edge of the majestic New Forest. I create illustrations and pattern designs inspired by the beautiful patterns and vibrant colours found in nature that surround us. I primarily work with gouache, ink stamps and coloured pencils, as well as illustrating digitally. I am open to commissions and love to work with other small businesses, charities and arts organisations. I also have a passion for typography and enjoy combining unique hand lettering with my illustrations. Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss a project or commission - I'd love to hear from you!

Frames of Reference - Wiltshire Artist's Bursary SchemeGingko Projects
‘Frames of Reference’ bursary - awarded as part of the public art commissioning programme for the King’s Gate development in Amesbury, UK. I created pattern designs and artwork aiming to help engage the local community with Wiltshire’s heritage sites and celebrate what makes our County unique. Work included a screenprint design based on the Peregrine Falcons nesting in Salisbury Cathedral, and a tea towel design illustrating Avebury and it’s stone circle in a modern day context. I also created an illustration for Wadworth Brewery in Devizes, celebrating the tradition of local ales being delivered by horse and cart to pubs, which was transferred to mugs and greetings cards, available in the gift shop in Devizes and online.
