I spent time here shadowing various producers in the TV department, learning about the process that takes a client brief all the way through the creative process and finally its production before it is ready to be aired on TV. I was also involved in the creative and copywrite side of the company, sitting in on and contributing to various brand pitches. I helped produce competitor research for a brief for
L’Occirane as well as assisting in creating an internal branding video for KFC.

My time at UCL taught me how to work to strict deadlines and how to manage my time efficiently. My degree involved an individual studies project - ‘You Rule? Expressions of Queer Bodies in The Sims 4’ - requiring me to conduct my own fieldwork and interviews with people in the gaming industry. In addition, my degree required me to produce an original short ethnographic film. I developed an original idea, arranged interviews, filmed, and edited the work myself.
