Francesca Sarti is an architect with a passion for conviviality and a tendency towards "disposophobia", who has always tried to combine different disciplines, whatever she does. After graduating as an architect and working in the art world since 1998, in 2001 she founded the food design studio Arabeschi di Latte. For more than ten years, directing Arabeschi di Latte studio she has been exploring the food world, its fascination and its power to create situations and relationships, down to its darkest side with the Underkitchen platform . She has created many food concepts and pop-up cafés around the world, combining food and design and contribuiting to shape the actual meaning of this binomial. Beside the activity of food and creative consultancy, Francesca Sarti gives lectures and runs courses and workshops in many Academies and Universities: ECAL in Lausanne, Politecnico and Domus Academy in Milan, IUAV in Venice, Faculty of Design In Florence, IED in Rome, Accademia di Belle Arti and DAMS in Bologna.
