Francesco Ciaponi was born on the banks of the Arno, lives in Santa Croce and remains absurdly stuck to his land, struggling every time to leave. He studies and graduates in the History of Press and Publishing at the University of Pisa with a thesis, then edited for the types of Costa & Nolan, under the title Underground: the rise and decline of another 1966-1977 publishing in which he tells and Describes the phases and protagonists of countercultural editorial in Italy. In addition to the 2 unique figures of the annual magazine The Farfisa on the Communicative Trends of the Second Millennium, Ciaponi collaborates on the realization of two essays titled The American novel and war and Because it can be edited by Edizioni Plus. In 2010 he founded, together with Andrea Pacini's chart, Italian Poster Rock Art, the Italian archive of poster art that is still online with over 354 registered artists and more than 2,600 posters and through which he has organized 2 2010 and 2011 contests with The best Italian poster artists gathered for 3 days of silkscreen, drawings, music and talk. In 2016, he resumed the historic battle brand to found the Frisco Editions: a small independent publishing company that has a unique number of Interviews, a NBA basketball volume magazine, where the top 10 experts are interviewed. - The Big Lebowski Art Collection THE BOOK The book "The Big Lebowski Art Collection" was born from the spontaneous participation of artists who responded to Francesco Ciaponi's call for the creation of a single volume, starting with the still-living love for the film The Big Lebowski, to collect 68 graphic works From 22 different states. The volume The Big Lebowski Art Collection fills a gap that, despite the fact that thousands of fans of clubs and associations of every type celebrate the film and individual characters of the film, and despite the graphic works inspired by it are tens and dozens, inexplicably It was until today.
