About me

Hey! My names Francisco Garcia and I'm a writer for the Financial Times, Guardian, the London Review of Books and many others. I also write branded copy for the likes of Airbnb and a load of other great brands. My first two nonfiction books, If You Were There: Missing People and the Marks They Leave Behind (2021) and We All Go Into The Dark (2023) were published by HarperCollins to critical acclaim (was a lovely feeling to be Guardian Book of the Day). I also wrote the scripts for the multimillion view VICE doc series The Business of Crime. I'm currently working across a number of really fun projects, though am open to having a chat re the right opportunities. Cheers!
