ESEA Sisters is a community founded after the Atlanta attack in March 2021 by myself, Ying Suen, Susie Lau and other Asian creatives based in London. From a Whatsapp chat of 15 to now a Discord network of over 700 spanning across the UK, US, Canada and Australia. We represent as many people from the ESEA sphere as possible from Mongolia to Nepal to Indonesia: female-identifying, non-binary and trans folk. We campaign against anti-Asian hate, develop strategies on how better to both support and educate other minority ethnic groups and support fellow Asians emotionally if and when they need a support network.
