About me
At present, I work for the tv production company Kobalt and am as deputy editor-in-chief, managing the Arte Europa-Kulturmagazin Metropolis. I was – and still am - working as director for several shows including Arte Metropolis, Yourope, Tracks and for the german culture show 3Sat Kulturpalast. In addition, I am acting editor of the Arte concert series "Berlin Live". Before joining Kobalt, I worked as an editor at the ZDF Hauptstadtstudio for the literary broadcast "Das blaue Sofa". During this time, I moderated the series with the likes of Ken Follett or Donna Leon for the ZDF / 3 Sat specials "The Blue Sofa" and "The Long Night of the Blue Sofa" at the book fair in Frankfurt and Leipzig. As an director, editor and presenter I also worked for the Arte Lounge, Deutsche Welle, Kulturzeit, ZDF Today in Europe, ZDF Aspekte and as editor and presenter for the daily live performance "lettra! The show" broadcasted on Premiere. In addition I moderated the nationwide broadcasts "GIGA Heartbeat" and "GIGA Hamburg" on NBC GIGA, the interactive youth-station on NBC Europe which was awarded with the Grimme Online-Award. As a freelance author, I write books for major German publishers, as well as reports and articles for customer magazines and various online portals. On my blog BOX IN A SUITCASE I am collecting everything I discover during my travels and in interviews with artists, and feature all the interesting places, products and people I cant feature on the show.
