About me
I am a 20 year old fashion graduate. I have significant fashion design experience from college, training programs and work experience volunteering for a design brand in Pakistan. I am a self motivated worker and capable of prioritizing my workload in order to meet deadlines. I am passionate about sustainability and in particular working towards reducing the amount of waste dumped in my home city of Accra in Ghana. My ambition is to positively impact communities through my Fashion design work. I am eager to change through Fashion design work and sustainability activism.
Projects
- Flourish in DiversityA 4 week paid training programme in collaboration with industry, with the aim of generating and presenting commercial solutions to brand partners on how to reduce waste, introduce cleaner fabric alternatives and have a positive social impact within the supply chain, throughout the product cycle. Exercising effective research, development and communication skills in fulfilling the designated brief. Brand partners include: Mulberry, Ahluwalia and Toast, amongst others.
