About me
Hi there! Im Freya, a fashion marketing and communications student living in Oxfordshire. I am in my last year of my degree studies at the Fashion Retail Academy & have learnt so much in my time here. My favourite modules so far have been visual communications & PR. I love being hands on & want my future role to include an element of this.
I first decided I wanted to work in fashion after volunteering at my local Blue Cross Charity shop. I took on responsibilities such as Visual Merchandising, Window Displays, Choosing the correct donations for the store, clothes steaming & prepping, Tagging & pricing items & Customer service skills.
I work part time at a local pub alongside my studies. Managing both has been challenging at times however I have definitely taught me great organisational & time management skills. I have been working in hospitality since I was 16, & working with people is one of my strengths, I definitely want my future role to be one where I can learn from others as it is one of the ways I lean best.

Working across the creative team, I was able to experience PR, content & copy, design & photography teams. Over my months internship I was tasked with packing & processing warehouse returns, assisting the design team with creating social media reels & content, creating partner packs on Adobe photoshop & InDesign. My key highlights where helping prep & plan for their new wedding collection campaign shoot in Ibiza.

I am currently in my final year studying fashion marketing & communications. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far & gained much relevant experience. I obtained work experience with phase eight through my university which gave me my first experience working within a HQ environment.
