About me

I am currently a second-year Events Management student at Falmouth University looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge, skills and experiences. Some of the roles I have undertaken include marketing manager as well as team leader however, I would love to branch out to other roles and share my enthusiasm for events with others in this sector.

• Halloween Pub QuizA spooky pub quiz hosted on the event society Facebook page on a Livestream. with this event we handed out parcels to all attendees with Halloween sweets in, alcohol and some spooky prize for the winner. this event was a massive success and we hope to do something similar to this again.
• Murder MysteryDue to COVID, we have had to make all our events online, therefore, I have made a murder mystery pack for people to play at home with their flats, this is an at home escape room where they have to figure out who the killer is through puzzles, clues and suspects. Once they have figured out who the murderer (and have the correct answer) then they will be put into a raffle to win some alcohol. This event proved to be very popular with students at Falmouth University.
• Fancy Dress online QuizDue to the COVID-19 outbreak we have had to put all our event online. To create our own twist on the idea of a normal pub quiz we have added boxes filled with a drink of their choice and snacks to be sent to each participant.
• Lockdown Art GalleryWith COVID-19 causing all events and most activities to be cancelled, I thought it would be a nice safe idea to create an art gallery for walkers going past my house with my dads painting from over the years. to ensure the safety of everyone I drew a rainbow on the floor asking that people stay behind ensuring a 2-meter distance from the paintings and myself. the overall response was that everyone enjoyed it.
• "Murder in the Jungle" Escape RoomAlthough the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak my team and I planned and carried out practice runs for our escape room t be held on our University campus.
• Christmas Cinema Night - ElfThis event was held in the lead up to Christmas where I wanted to spread some magic on the university campus by organising and leading a pop-up cinema night for students. Within this event I delegated various roles to my small team which included on the door ticket sales, the purchasing of popcorn, marketing and finances.
