As a mural artist my first job was to paint a design inside The Resevoir Pub which suited the current decor and theme, I came up with a design which I painted on a wall inside the building.
My current project has been painting the outside courtyard fence with a design I have created with a theme of water and wildlife with some typographic lyrics from a song integrated within the artwork to a large painted scale.

Artsmart is a summer workshop for children aged 5-18. I assisted classes with around 15 5-14 year olds. The project for the class was to look at illustrated children's books which look at wildlife and exploring to inspire the children on techniques and ideas.
The class had to look at the garden at Gainsborough House for insects to draw and gather a wide range of drawings.
Once they had been gathered these drawings were then to be used as a narrative and finalised images of the insects which could be printed. We used Monoprinting as the printing technique and my duty was to assist the children in this working process and ensure they could get a good outcome.
