Gabriella has four years’ experience in the makeup industry, including time working with brands such as Benefit and MAC. She has been freelancing since her graduation from Central Saint Martin's last summer with a degree in Fine Art, which artistic background brings a flair and originality to each look she creates. • Assisting a high volume of customers with sales of the popular cosmetic brand in a busy environment with an enthusiastic personable manner. • Providing professional make up artistry experience. • Consistently achieving store and individual targets; including the promotion of new collections, large transactions and maintaining a high level of loyalty product sales. • Ensuring the store maintained a clean and well-organized environment, including replenishing stock, schematic product arrangement and adhering to hygiene standards of artistry tools in keeping with the brand’s image. • Attended numerous training days developing new make-up artistry skills and keeping one step ahead of fashion and cosmetic trends.
• Advising customers when browsing the counter and encouraging sales of new products within the Benefit range. This included ‘traffic stopping’ – approaching customers within the popular department store promoting new collections and complimentary demonstrations at the counter in a confident and professional manner. • Conducting make-up consultations required me too be organized and time efficient whilst being approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. • Built relationships with customers by booking them back for consultations when new products were going to be released.
• Assisting sales in the Beauty, Women’s Accessories and Shoes department, but was required to work in other departments including; Menswear, Womenswear, Catering and Furnishings. • Approaching customers and building conversations to discover their needs and closed sales matching the customers with their perfect items. • I worked efficiently with other members of staff to achieve a high level of customer service on the shop floor which developed excellent interpersonal skills.
