You will probably see at first glance that I currently do not reside in Australia, currently working both in Europe and Asia as a fashion designer with expertise in women's product advisory and brand specific design. I have been working in the fashion industry for over 10 years, during this time I have had the opportunity to work both in the design and product aspect of the creative process. My tertiary studies were completed at the prestigious Marangoni Institute of Milan in 2004, following this I have gained experience as product manager and furthermore senior designer/creative director for both emerging and historical brands. In the last 4 years I have worked as a fashion design consultant for leading Italian groups and foreign brands. I believe we all have personal and professional strengths, but as individuals these vary. I have developed over the years my own work philosophy and pushed my personal boundaries to become what I believe to be a successful professional figure. I have strong work ethics, prominent attention to detail and my capacity as both a team player and team leader have been a major draw card. I give great importance to expanding my knowledge and professional know-how, hence I consider myself astute and perceptive. Honestly, there has been times in my career I have examined my aptitude to fashion design; I’m efficient, organised and practical, no doubt unusual characteristics to find within many creative environments. I am ambitious, but my high belief in the value of team work makes me non-competitive as an individual. I also have a strong passion for the business and commercial aspects of our work. A personality test could tell me I choose the incorrect career path. However I believe in what I do, I trust in my approach and no doubt my skill and personality traits have been the main contributor to my success as a business owner and fashion designer. My business is currently successfully running and I am looking to start working with the Australian market, this will present also an exciting professional challenge for me. I am sure my experience and Italian/Europe know-how could be of great value to an Australian company, at the same time allowing me to grow and expand my professional horizons.
