From the inception of an idea through to complete fulfilment and delivery, my role is to make things happen on time, on budget whilst always maintaining the integrity of the creative idea, in partnership with all areas within an agency, client and supplier relationship. With nearly 20 years experience, working across all areas of the industry I have an extensive knowledge of what it takes to get the job done, more than likely with the inevitable late night thrown in. I love it, and I’m pretty good at it too.
Pulse is a digitally led international media and content marketing agency dedicated entirely to servicing technology based companies, I have worked there on numerous occasions as a senior conceptual designer working across all of their B2B client base.
Initially working in Oslo for The&Partnership to help them set up their agency for Toyota and Lexus, working across all media inc TV, Print and Digital. The following on from Oslo I also worked alongside the teams in Stockholm and Paris
After taking the summer off I’ve since been freelancing at some of Londons top agencies inlcuding BBH, Publicis London, Anomaly, Martin Agency, Agency Space, Front Room, Pulse Comms. Working on many different projects ranging from concept, design, pitches, production in ATL, B2B, POS, BTL / DM advertising in both traditional and digital advertising.
My roles at krow required me to take a very ‘hands on’ approach, which gave me the opportunity to help build the studio to be an extension of the creative department and bridging the gap between the creatives and a more traditional studio. Integral to all the output of the studio and collaborating with the creative dept working from concept, through to design, artwork and delivery on all of the agency clients including Fiat, DFS, Virgin Trains, Kinder, Nutella, Le Creuset, PayPal, Team GB, Natural History Museum, Sofa Workshop and countless pitches. Working across all forms of media from TV, Print, OOH, Press, Digital, DM and pretty much everything in between. As well as all my creative and design roles, as a Studio Director I was responsible for the management and personal development of a team including designers, artworkers, retouchers, resource management for freelance requirements, workflow processes, time management, finances and all the logistics required to make a successful, creative and £1m+ a year studio.
My role as a Production Manager required that I work closely with all other departments, controlling all projects through studio, creative and account management. Again, working across all forms of media in production, these include, Print, Press, TV and Radio. I have run large National, Regional and Magazine Press, OOH and print campaigns for clients such as Porsche, Renault, John Lewis, Direct Line, HSBC and Staples. I have been the Agency Producer on TV and Radio campaigns for Direct Line, AXA, Staples and John Lewis. Originally employed at CMW working as a creative artworker on the Renault account, managing all the regional and national press advertising which also involved a fair bit of DM too.
Various roles working on many prestigious clients in the repro and publishing industry for the likes of Condé Naste, Emap, Pateke Phillipe, Harrods, Dorling Kindersley, to name but a few. As a Proofing Manager, the supervision and management of my department, staff and workflow was my main priority, ensuring quality control and helping clients understand the processes involved in making their work getting to the finished article. My roles as a Mac Operator included design, typesetting, colour and image retouching, and artwork.
