I am responsible for Tripadvisor’s global corporate and B2B communications for hotels and restaurants, as well as working with global hospitality industry bodies. My responsibilities include:
Devising corporate communications and public affairs strategies across the TripAdvisor business
Creating content, including messaging, press releases, by-lines and research reports across 12 markets, and securing coverage across online, print and broadcast media
Line management of the corporate and B2B teams
Creating programmes to promote and protect the TripAdvisor brand for consumers and businesses
Managing reactive and crisis communications across a global team
Identifying company spokespeople and managing media training
Managing industry projects including research papers, and educational campaigns
Appearing as a panellist and speaker at worldwide hospitality industry events
Liaising with industry associations, government bodies and global industry bodies
Achievements:
Running a partnership with the World Bank using Tripadvisor data to distribute funding to developing destinations across the world
Publishing a joint report on overtourism with the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC)
