Design Consultant/Senior Designer specialising in industrial product design. Experienced working with many reputed clients either on one-off projects or on-going basis. Working independently or managing a team of designers/engineers. Experienced at concepts, NPD, research through to manufacturing and market. Adept at manufacturing liaison in Europe and South-East Asia, producing on time and on budget.
▪ Utilised collective expertise for various projects including space-saving housewares, cutlery and glassware, clever teapots, bicycle accessories, unique/customisable benches, and furniture ranges. Some are patent protected and licensed, including multi-award winning ‘Eazistore’ range of stacking saucepans, casseroles and frying pans, sold across US and Europe.
▪ Worked for Bicygnals Limited on an on-going basis since December 2005 to design, develop, manufacture and sell a comprehensive 9 product range of revolutionary bicycle lighting accessories including wirefree indicators and an illuminated helmet. Responsible for all consumer touch-points, IPR, sales and marketing collateral, website and exhibition design.
▪ Achieved the designation of Design Associate for Design Council since 2009, mentoring small to medium enterprises and universities on how best to use design to strategically improve business/commercial opportunities. Visited as a Lecturer at Royal College of Art since 2014.
▪ Chosen as a finalist on Design Council Spark Innovation Program 2016 to develop unique telescopic BBQ grill and oven - GINGANGOO®.

Joined Factory Design in 1998 as an equity partner in the role of Creative Director. Factory Design is an award-winning 3D design consultancy, employing 8 to 10 personnel, specialising in transport, product and packaging which has undertaken strategic product development programmes for international companies including Montblanc International, Otis Elevators, Remington, Ronson, Tannoy and British Airways. Other notable products include the World Traveller Plus seat for British Airways, the Arena range of loudspeakers for Tannoy and Marlboro dispensing units for Philip Morris. Further design projects include experiences with start up companies and individuals as well as collaboration with branding and graphic agencies.
Also an equal partner in Factory Works, a sister company set up to focus on the later stages of the design process, including engineering, prototyping and low volume manufacturing.
