About me
Gemma Biddlecombe is a professional makeup artist who specialises in Beauty and Editorial.
She believes that makeup has no limits and when paired with the use of imagination, it can enable someone to create a range of different looks or characters by either enhancing or diminishing certain features of the face and body. She has gained work experience by assisting with model changes at the Gok Wan Fashion show, ‘One Size Fits All’ and she has also assisted with makeup at the Point Theatre for a number of shows.
She aims to have only cruelty free, sustainable and vegan products within her kit, being a vegan herself this is something she is very highly passionate about.
Gemma feels that health and safety is essential when providing makeup services to clients, especially during the current situation and therefore, she recently decided to complete her Barbicide and Barbicide Covid 19 certificates.
In addition to this, she has acquired multiple skills whilst studying makeup. This includes intermediate photography and good knowledge on editing and photoshop. Gemma has also attained makeup skills within editorial, fashion, media, catwalk and HD makeup.
Furthermore she is currently studying her level 6 at Solent University with the ambition to completing.
In her spare time, her hobbies include contemporary and ballet dancing as well as going to the gym. She is passionate about dance as it allows her to choreograph movement with her face and body as she listens and breaks down the music.
