About me
I am an innovative designer with a wealth of experience; from owning my own businesses to working in teams at established fashion companies. During my experience over the last 15 years; I have accumulated an enormous amount of experience that has greatly influenced my skill set. Through working with recycled materials, I have become extremely resourceful and a creative problem solver due to the complex nature of not just working directly from rolls of fabric; to then having to overcome all the challenges that arise with this. I have an excellent knowledge of fashion history through my work within the vintage clothing industry, and I use this to inspire my work and fusing these ideas with current / future trends to create relevant and informed designs. I am extremely adaptable and versatile within my research and designs to always communicate brand ethos and identity throughout my work. Carrying out ongoing customer profiling and customer research enables me to make sure the target audience is always at the forefront of my design work. Alongside this, I also find it extremely important and informative to carry out sales analysis and product performance to ensure we are always meeting customer needs and to be able to identify opportunities for the brand.
