About me
I am an innovative designer and product developer with a wealth of experience from owning my own businesses to working with and also managing teams at an established medium size fashion company. Sustainability and trends are at the core of my ambition and values, plus they play a huge part in my design handwriting and future aspiration. Over the last 10 years I have accumulated an enormous amount of relevant experience that has greatly influenced my skill set. Through working with recycled materials, I have become extremely resourceful and creative as a result of the complex nature of not working directly from a roll of fabric but using existing garments and having to overcome the challenges that come with this.

Fashion Designer and Product Co-ordinatorBeyond Retro
     - London, United KingdomFull Time
This role is extremely hands-on, from independently developing each seasonal trend forecast, to CAD and spec drawings, to the management of each fit session, visiting and working directly with our manufacturing factory in India and working directly with store stakeholders. I have also been working directly with external retailers. Designing and developing ranges for Urban Outfitters UK and US, an exclusive homeware range for Made.com, plus working directly with Converse design teams on the launch of Beyond Retro and Converse shoe collaboration. As a result of this I am both able to work within a team following a set brief as well as taking ownership within my role and working independently. ✄ Lead designer for their highly sustainable womens, mens and accessories range all re-worked and re-designed using materials which would have otherwise ended up in landfill. ✄ Driving the product development process from the initial design to final product across multi-category womens, mens and accessories ranges. ✄ Working alongside the merchandisers seasonal buy plans to ensure that buy quantities are fulfilled and come within cost, meeting profit margins. ✄ Daily management of overseas factory for both sample product development and monthly production cycles. ✄ Improved the sell through figures and reported on trade figures.
