  • Jacob Bailey is a direct marketing agency, specialising in thought leadership and creative strategy. As an Account Manager, my key responsibilities include effectively managing technical, design and marketing teams to deliver high quality digital and print projects on time and within budget. My biggest accounts fall within the charity and transport sectors: PDSA & Abellio Greater Anglia. Past clients include MasterCard, NFU Mutual, Akzo Nobel & Fraser Hart. - Extensive experience working across fully integrated campaigns for both Abellio Greater Anglia & PDSA. This includes above & below the line promotions with a particular emphasis on Door Drop, Direct Mail, Outdoor, Press, Email, GDN, Social Media, TV, Cinema and Video on demand. - Above the line promotion: managing all of Abellio Greater Anglia’s marketing campaigns including regularly planning and distributing regular 8 page door drops across 28 versions to over 700k people. Attending TV production days with the client to provide live sign off on the quarterly TV ad. Working with outdoor production houses to manage outdoor ads including station posters, 48 sheets, 6 sheets and bus ads. - Below the line promotion: broadcasting and reporting on targeted e-marketing campaigns on behalf of Abellio Greater Anglia – managing around 15 targeted e-marketing communications per month. GDN, Social ads & Social media. - 3 years of experience working with the PDSA legacy team to create engaging and targeted legacy campaigns across Door Drop, DM, Eshot, shop window displays & web ads. - Managing campaigns including briefing, managing and coordinating both internal and external resources, including developers, designers, copywriters, print houses and offshore development teams and gaining approval from all stakeholders. - Direct management of an Account Executive – managing his workload and delegating suitable tasks. - Working to a test and learn approach and reporting on key findings – ensuring results are accurately collated and fed back. - Creating and maintaining strong client relationships. Managing partners, freelancers and suppliers. - Writing copy for web, social and print projects across a wide range of collateral. Key Achievements at Jacob Bailey: - Delivered engaging integrated marketing campaigns for PDSA for over 3 years – winning a silver DMA award for best use of Door Drop. - Winning a pitch to manage all of Abellio Greater Anglia’s integrated marketing campaigns. Turning around the AGA summer campaign within the period of a month including Door Drop, Direct Mail, Outdoor, Press, Digital, TV ad, Cinema and Video on demand. - Regularly managing up to 3 integrated marketing campaigns per month for Abellio Greater Anglia.

  • My role at Keynote World Media was to drive awareness of their global Cloud Computing World Series and ensure that the target audience attended. This was achieved through a combination of regional marketing alliances and internal activities that incorporate a variety of 'above' and 'below-the-line' techniques. At Keynote, I Worked as part of the events team to help plan and coordinate all aspects of the event. - Dealing with the marketing of a series of successful worldwide events on Cloud Computing. - Writing and distributing press releases. - Website management. - Organisation of all print materials and signage for each event. - Management of the Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook accounts. Nexus was sold to a company in London shortly after I left. The owner has now restarted a business called Nexus.
