About me
I was the summer intern at Haaretz English in Tel Aviv. I am a recent graduate of 'International Studies: Middle East with Arabic and Hebrew' at Leiden University in the Netherlands. I speak fluent English, French and Italian, eloquent Spanish, and conversational Arabic (Palestinian dialect), Hebrew and Dutch. I have also studied Fous'ha Arabic. I am also a writer and cover artist for BAISMAG, a student-run magazine at with students of International Studies. BAISMAG is published two to three times a semester, and has a wide range of publications, from current affairs analyses to poetry and photography from around the world.

I edited articles and published them online, and researched and wrote my own articles. I transliterated and helped to translate texts and interviews. I shadowed reporters in the field and the editors in the newsroom. I also helped reporters organising trips and doing research for them. My final GPA was 8,08/10, or equal to a First-class honours degree. My programme was a mixture of international politics, culture, economics and history. Each student then chose a region and a language to specialise in. I chose the Middle East as a region of specialisation, and chose both Arabic and Hebrew as languages.
