About me
With a Bachelor’s degree behind me, I relocated back to my hometown in Bedfordshire in 2015, after studying at the University of Derby in Fashion Studies. February 2017 saw me become a Casual Dresser at Milton Keynes Theatre. It was this job role that sparked a huge interest in costume and the entertainment industry. I have since moved to London and spent my time working on multiple theatre shows and fully immersing myself in this demanding and lively industry. I am a creative and hardworking individual who is ambitious and reliable. I am continuously looking to challenge and develop my skills. My degree and career in both fashion and theatre have allowed me to develop in a wide range of areas including design, production, administration and costume. I am always looking for ways to apply my strong sewing, organisational, dressing and problem solving skills to any production I am working on.

I worked with multiple wardrobe departments on a variety of different scaled shows. My dressing plots involved principals, dancers and ensemble in straight plays and musicals in both contemporary and period costumes. This role involved pre-setting before each performance, helping dress the performers during the show, sort costumes and general wardrobe maintenance including washing and ironing. I carried out multiple laundry calls and learnt how to maintain and take care of costumes that must withstand heavy schedules.
