Geoffroy de Crécy is a French director and illustrator, who continuously explores many ways to apply and combine the techniques of traditional animation, stop-motion, 3D and mixed media.
His initial foray into the animation world saw him win multiple awards for the music video Am I Wrong and gave him the opportunity to work with clients such as Fanta, Kellogg’s, Guinness, Fedex and Carambar (to name a few.)
He is perhaps now best known for his animating loops and gifs which are mesmerisingly hypnotic, and are what he calls: “midway between illustration and animated clips.
