About me
George Hudson is an impresario based in Soho, London, with a diverse background in the property and entertainment industries. He is the founder of the Soho Live Music Club, a group of popular venues including The Boulevard Theatre, The Shed Soho Cocktail Bar & Restaurant, and The Piano Bar Soho. In addition to his work as a venue operator, George is a producer at Soho Live Studios, where he works with the UK's top emerging jazz artists and global brands/venues in music, film, and live production. George is well-known for his expertise in producing high-profile events for prestigious brands and venues around the world, including Virgin Voyages in London, Barclay's innovation hubs in New York, BBVA's open innovation summit in Madrid, and a jazz series at Pikes Place in Ibiza. He is also the founder of the Soho Live Jazz Festival, now in its seventh year, which takes place across 20 venues in Soho. Recently, he launched the Soho Wine Festival, which is scheduled to take place in April 2024. George's passion for entertainment real estate has led him to establish new projects both in the UK and abroad. His latest venture is The Carnaby, a flagship venue for the Soho Live Music Club, which is set to open on Carnaby Street later this year. He is also an active investor and advisor in the world of film and short-form entertainment, most recently the award-winning feature documentary Ronnies (2020). After completing his degree in Music at the University of York, George received a global scholarship of entrepreneurship from the Kauffman Foundation, a program established by UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown. During this time, George received training from renowned entrepreneurs, including at Stanford University and Harvard Business School.
