About me
I have recently finished my temp placement at Virgin EMI Records as a marketing assistant and I am currently looking for employment within the music industry. Music has been huge part of my life as far back as I can remember. This is thanks
to my family who are real music lovers and are involved in the music industry themselves.
As much as I love the music I grew up with (icons like Tears for Fears, Elton John and The Verve) my more current loves are Blood Orange, Kali Uchis and Daniel Caesar.
Through starting my own ventures, I had to quickly learn so much about project management, multi-tasking, business
administration and deadline-orientated organisation. I’ve also had to become an expert on all major social media
platforms in order to establish a following for various brands. I put these skills this into practise in a fast paced music
business environment whilst working at Virgin EMI and Machine Management. Working in an office environment within
the music industry has taught me more about the importance of team work, time management and identifying priority
tasks. As well as this, I have thoroughly enjoyed getting stuck in with a team. I love people; communicating with people,
meeting new people and helping people out. A job where communication is essential is a solid fit for me.
The music industry has intrigued me from a very young age and working in a sector that my passion lies within inspires
me and is a driving force. I am forward thinking and hugely interested in the ever-changing music industry landscape. I
would love to be surrounded by like-minded people who are creative, outgoing and passionate about music.
