About me
Being a creative and versatile surface pattern & textiles designer I am keen to bring fresh, original and innovative ideas into the design world. Having a love for organic patterns and nature combined with a strong use of colour has led me to develop skills using both hand and digital techniques. I have a keen eye for detail and always strive to deliver a refined and focused outcome through problem solving and development.
Projects
- ReptilianTheme: A shell full of kaleidoscopic textures, searching beneath the segmented layers of these cold blooded creatures selecting woven structures to open up a new world of pattern. Taking inspiration from S/S 2018 tridal trend focusing mainly on colour creating tonal abstract designs influenced by Rex Ray. Aim: To produce hand crafted designs suitable to be applied to soft furnishings such as cushions, throws and rugs used in a lounge setting.
- Pick & MixInspired by pantones 'playful release' colour palette these childlike card designs combine multiple activities such as cutting, colouring and dressing up games. Taking a fun and expressive approach with the consideration of each gender these birthday cards focus on a younger audience of ages 4-8. As there is a rise in personalisation I have added the opportunity to add a name.
