A recent graduate of PR, Media and Marketing looking for my next chapter in life. I have worked throughout my time at university as well as doing a summer internship related to my degree. I am now currently working within Guy Salmon Land Rover and Paul J Rowland Funeral directors as a receptionist until a new opportunity arises.

Duties include:
• Greet customers
• Answering incoming calls, advising and recording information
• Helping with monthly coffee mornings
• Online Marketing such as website design, advertisement via Google and Kent Messenger.
I also assisted with the set-up of the company’s website and design of their business cards. Over the summer I have taken on further advertising and marketing duties for the company, with Yell.com being used to its full potential as well as getting them into local surgery booking forms with their advertisements. But their biggest step was a new site named Funeral Booker which I dealt with from the start by getting photos, prices and information set up and it’s away for future clients to look at different Funeral Directors and compare prices before visiting.

Group Projects:
During my degree, I have taken part in multiple group activities, this included a project where we had to come up with a new brand of drink. We had to put together everything from the design concept, Marketing and PR for the brand. Another group project I was involved in was creating a sponsorship campaign for the Olympics in which we chose women’s BMXing. Throughout both projects one of my main strengths was researching and presenting in front of an audience therefore being able to answer any questions on behalf of the group.
Writing:
I have developed my writing skills and styles through the various marketing projects I have worked on including an entertaining blog, which I created and kept updated. The blog was based on affordable movies/cinema experience aimed at students to help them through school and university when being on a budget as well as people who are generally into films.
Social media:
During year one and two I built and maintained a free website through Wix and set up social media accounts on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook related to the projects I worked on.
